Biography

 

Christine Hopkins is an artist specialising in mixed media painting, exhibiting widely, and demonstrating mixed media painting to art groups and societies. Her recent work is a more abstract approach to architecture and the landscape, based on colour moods and form, incorporating collage and textiles.

 

A member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, she has been elected to their governing Council. A founder member of Blue Sky Artists, she works in a  collaborative partnership with artists Kirsten Baron and Rosie Christie. Christine is also a member of the North Weald Art Group and Concept Group. Her work can be seen at group exhibitions throughout the year, and the annual Surrey Artists Open Studios each summer. Her work is represented in private collections in the UK, as well as Europe, New Zealand, Australia and the US.
